Well I work at Krogers. So I see promotions all the time and the first one is coupons. When you walk down the isles they have these things that dispense coupons and they sit right in front of the product. The second one is the fact that if you have a kroger plus card which helps you save more money than you would if you didn't have one so that is a premium that we offer our kroger customers. We are constantly having contests for our store but also the products have contests also. Refunds and rebates are also grouped in with the kroger plus card. I work in the meat department and we offer a thing called family packs which is a larger amount of meat at a discounted price, we actually call them price-offs because you save so much money.

After writing down every commercial that caught my for the past two days I have found the main way to grasp my attention is to do it with humor. I have found that I watch about 3 to 5 hours of television a day. During that time I am normally watching something about sports any time I see a commercial that is humorous I noticed it.The best way to target me would to play a funny commercial during a sporting event or on espn.

Xbox Brand
| . |
Xbox is the product I picked. Before purchasing the Xbox I spent a good amount of time researching this product. I compared prices, the amount and quality of the games available, and the online game play. I spent so much time because the price of this purchase was so high.
When thinking of the Xbox couple of thoughts come to me and most of them are happy. The perception of this I believe comes from my experience when using the product because it helps me stay in touch with friends that are not close by any more. I also enjoy playing the video games. After looking at what others have to say a lot of people and I believe the same thing when thinking of the brand Xbox. While there are some people that disagree with me but I believe that the majority of people agree with me.
I believe the reason that I agreed with the other people is because the majority of the users of this product are men. They most likely target the 16- 24 age range which is a highly sought after age group for game console developers. That is why my ideas of the brand were so similar to the rest of the brand ideas.

I really enjoy this old spice commercial and consider it one of my favorites. The reason that I like it is because of many different reasons but the first and most important to me is that it is funny. Whenever humor is involved I tend to pay more attention to the whole commercial instead of just changing the channel and moving on. Humor gets me to stop but sometimes people can go over the top and make it almost goofy which I do not like at all and seem to dismiss the product immediately. When a commercial is too goofy I tend to question the accountability of the product and if it really works. The humor that the old spice ad is a little more subtle than other commercials that I have seen, another reason I like it is because it makes fun of itself with the whole line of "smell like a man, man". You will be as cool as me if you use old spice which is the obviously idea behind the whole commercial. I also believe that the actor that they choose to play the character was perfect casting. Also the actors voice is almost Barry White type and is soothing enough to make you believe him and allow you to take accountability in the product because the character makes you believe it. I also like how the background is what changes and the actor never seems uncomfortable or awkward which again helps reinforce the idea that this is the man that you want to be so if you uses old spice you will be.
